Description: This dataset represents the eligible and non eligible areas throughout Australia for applications to the Regional Arts Fund grants application program and is intended for use within an eligibility mapping tool which will be linked to the Regional Arts Fund grant application site. The dataset was sourced from a combination of layers including Modified Monash Model 2023 (MMM2023) from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Local Government Area 2023 from the ABS (LGA23) and Remoteness Areas 2021 (RA21) from the ABS. It was created using a union process to combine all administrative boundaries into a seamless layer with visual display and eligibility selected by the MMM23 categories.The dataset covers the time period from September 2025.This data is suitable for use at all scales. This dataset is not scheduled for an update at this stage. This dataset has been derived specifically for the Regional Arts Grant eligibility tool and should only be used for that application.
