It is a dataset intended for visualisation purposes in mapping applications only.</span></span></p><p><span style='font-weight:bold;'>Abstract:</span></p><p><span><span>This dataset represents intermodal terminals (IMT) or hubs, which are facilities able to move containers between different modes of transport, with storage space for containers waiting for the next leg of the journey. An IMT is usually situated inland at a location that offers access to major road, rail and sometimes waterway transit routes. </span></span></p><p><span><span>The dataset was sourced from a variety of publicly available sources such as state and government websites, and satellite imagery. </span></span></p><p><span><span>The dataset was updated recently and is current to December 2024 </span></span></p><p><span>This data is suitable for use at any scale. This dataset was reviewed and updated in 2024 but may not be comprehensive. This dataset should not be used for analysis.
